At The Tabios Foundation, we understand that the transitioning with a Mental Health Illness can be overwhelming. That's why our group homes are tailored to build a community. We provide a safe and secure environment that offers access to counseling, job training, and recreational activities. By fostering a sense of community and helping our veterans build successful lives for themselves, we hope to give them peace of mind and improved quality of life. Mental health is an issue that affects so many of us, yet stigma and fear continue to discourage open conversations. It's impossible to move forward when we don't talk about it. As a mental health
Mental health is an issue that affects so many of us, yet stigma and fear continue to discourage open conversations. It's impossible to move forward when we don't talk about it. At The Tabios Foundation, we intimately understand that we've lost one life too many due to mental health issues that could have been prevented.
As a mental health awareness charity, we believe that confronting the stigma around Mental Health is critical to transforming the conversation through compassionate suicide prevention resources. Our goal is to provide a kind, open-minded space for individuals needing help. We hope that through education and community outreach, more people will feel safe opening up and speaking about their mental health struggles. We want to create a world without shame or silence but instead with compassion and understanding. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of all those struggling with their mental health. All of our speaking events are centered around helping transform the conversation around mental health, mental health nonprofits, and empowering the voices of the voiceless.

Joining us in a show of respect is this incredible event honoring Veterans and their service to our country. We are inviting all members of the community to come together and host several races, focusing on those who have been disabled due to their service. It's our way of lending a hand and showing appreciation for the sacrifices they have made—a brave movement calling for strength, courage, and determination. To be part of an inspiring tribute that honors true heroes within our community is an opportunity that gives us reason to care and strive for something bigger than ourselves. If you would like to participate in this effort, please keep an eye on our Events page for upcoming information!
